2. It can have a compound subject = TOM and HARRY read novels.
3. It can have compound verbs = Tom READS and ENJOYS novels.
4. It can have compound direct objects = Tom reads NOVELS and NEWSPAPERS.
5. It can have compound subjects, verbs and direct objects = Tom and Harry read and enjoy novels and newspapers.
